The Bakehouse welcomes you into a beautiful setting where old world and original features meet with a modern industrial twist. Enjoy the home from home comfort and relax into a world of great smelling coffee and homemade delights.

Run by Chris and Miranda Marklew together with their talented chefs and a friendly team, you’ll have the pleasure of perusing our creative specials board with breakfasts, lunches and gorgeous platters which complement our menu featuring your old favourites with a spin.

We have a wide selection of locally produced drinks including our lovely coffee from Owens in Ivybridge, Devon, a wide variety of teas and locally produced juices and ales.

Our dishes are freshly prepared by our kitchen and use locally sourced products wherever possible, to help support our local community and produce very tasty food… and you have to try our mouthwatering home made cakes!

So whether its just for a latte and a slice of cake or you’d like to stay and enjoy a daily special with a glass of wine, come and soak up the history surrounding you and listen to the perfect accompanying music… and the noisy kitchen 🙂
